View

View is a simple piece of software that allows for applications to distributed amongst PDA's (personal digital assistants) and other mobile computing devices used by Building Control Inspections, Enforcement and Monitoring visits.
 
A list of applications to be downloaded is compiled through familiar search routines and sent for distribution to individual PDA devices. When the PDA next logs on for synchronisation, either from a modem connection or docking cradle, the applications are loaded for the site visit. When records have been modified the synchronisation process is repeated with the amended records stored in a temporary area from where they can be viewed, and, if required, deleted, before uploading to the main Datawright module.
